Renter’s Insurance
All residents are required to carry and provide documentation of a renter’s insurance policy with liability coverage. It is also advisable to protect yourself from loss by including your possessions in your coverage as well. Plans can be structured to fit your needs at a minimal expense. If fire, flood, or other damage occurs in your apartment and you are found at fault, you could be held responsible for the expenses incurred to the other apartments affected, in addition to your own. Unmarried persons should each carry their own insurance.
